Ha, I just had a flashback to when David Lee was with New York and he got blocked by Steph Curry and he got all up in his face about it... and now he's on our team and it must be real awkward for them, haha.
NewYorkDevil: I understand things have been hard for you for the past, what, three months? Things have been hard for me too, but I hope you come back soon!! Yay, that's it.
Ugh, it is currently 7:30 pm on a SUNDAY NIGHT. Which means tomorrow is Monday, which MEANS. I have to finish my homework soon.
But I really really don't want to do homework right now.
HA! I just took a thirty minute break from composing this post and finished a third of my remaining homework.
It's now... 8:50.
Okay, so it was more than a thirty minute break...
BUT ANYWAY. I want this post to be fun and creative and visual to make up for the lack of fun, creative, and visual aspects in my current lifestyle.
Three more months till summer and I really can't WAIT. Gosh, school sucks.
I recently just finished reading this new book that was just released called "Sean Griswold's Head" by Lauren? Leavitt. I mean Lindsey Leavitt. Anyway, it's about this totally anal, OCD freak girl who's dad has MS (a crippling disease). She accidentally finds out and is furious with her parents for lying to her about such a life-changing thing. She gives them the silent treatment for like a month so her parents make her go to the school guidance person. She suggests Payton (the main character) get a "focus object" something like a pencil sharpener or a cat she can "focus" on and channel her inner thoughts to do something I don't know, it's some psychological crap thing. Anyway, Payton chooses Sean Griswold's Head (hence the title of the book). Sean Griswold has sat in front of her since third grade (alphabetical order thing) so it's always just been there in her life. But then she starts "focusing on it" which makes her fall in love with him and blah blah all that cliche stuff. It's a pretty good read, and I found myself comparing it to Sammy Keyes.
Payton and Sammy are slightly similar in their lack of interest in boys and clothes and likedness towards sports.
Casey and Sean are alike in their kindness and difference from regular loud, obnoxious, immature high school boys.
Both Payton and Sammy have a best friend who is their complete opposite, and sometimes pushes them into things they're not ready for, aka, BOYS. (Payton has Jac, and Sammy has Marissa)
Payton and Sammy both have family problems (Payton is furious with her parents for lying to her about the MS, Sammy is furious with her mother for lying to her about a variety of different and random things).
So if you're having a Cammy Meltdown like I am, I recommend this book. It was fun to read all the cute scenarios between Sean and Payton and read about their growing relationship, it was a little hard to relate to Payton when she was just being downright awful to her parents (although she had a right to) and her sidekick Jac was just hilarious. I loved her brothers Trent and Caleb. I liked how Caleb lived in England, and he and Payton didn't really know each other from being around each other, but the author did a great job of creating a very brother-sister chemistry between them during their (one) phone call. And Trent was just hilarious.
I'm about to read The Maze Runner which is supposed to be like the Hunger Games so I'm really excited!!!
As I'm typing this, I'm listening to Queen.
Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?
Haha, every time I hear that line I think of a sea of orange Fanta Soda.
Speaking of Fanta, my friend taught me a great prank to pull:
Take an empty Windex spray bottle and fill it with blue gatorade.
Drink it in public by spraying it into your mouth.
I'm gonna try this someday, haha. YOU SHOULD TOO!!
Haha, anyway. I heard this new Justin Bieber song?? It's called Dr. Beiber and he's rapping the whole song! I couldn't stop laughing it was so hilarious.
And also he flipped off the paparazzi? Badass! Haha, but I feel bad for Selena Gomez.
If you don't know what I'm talking about then just disregard what I said.
Speaking of Justin Bieber, I saw this thing on Ellen a while back, I just wanted to share it with you:
Ellen: "Yeah, I'm in the Justin Bieber movie.... (dressed like Justin Bieber) yeah, Justin and I are real close, y'know? We play ping pong. The song Baby was actually my idea. He wanted to call it Infant. But then I was like 'Infant, infant, infant, OHH' and then I was like 'nah, do baby' so yeah, it was all my idea."
And, How to Ask Out a Girl the Justin Bieber Way:
"Girl, Imma tell you one time that I love- that I love you. Because I just need somebody to love. That way there will be one less lonely girl. Because when you smile, I smile. So please be a part of my world. 2.0."
Haha.
Random Fact Time: Has anyone seen the Dark Knight?
You know that scene with Heath Ledger (the Joker) where he's blowing up the hospital, and the bomb delays and he's all "WTF?" and then it blows up and he jumps in surprise and then runs away?
While filming, the bomb really did stall, so Heath's reaction is 100% real.
I love him.
And also! Did you know the creator of Google gets $76,000 every hour???
Yeah, nevermind. I think that's really like... wow.
Speaking of WOW. Eminem: I WILL LOVE FOREVER.
He's just THE BOMB.
HIS SERIOUS, EMOTIONLESS FACE.
I've been watching a lot of How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Friends reruns... I miss Psych. It doesn't start again until summer :( But Neil Patrick Harris is AMAZING. Especially with Ellen (who, by the way, I love)
Sheldon<3
and then there's this:
and these:
And because I can't seem to go a day without thinking about him:
he's too cute :')
THEY'RE TOO CUTE.
Well that concludes today's post. I hope it was fun and creative and visual.
xoxo
